Visualize your results intensely, but be detached from your outcomes. Let me explain in this brief, yet powerfully informative article. Sure, we all have goals at some level or a definite major, powerful purpose in life in the most passionate way. Indeed, we must be detached from all outcomes, and to achieve what we want or better, detachment from outcome is best. In short, we must ignore temporary failures and embrace all successes genuinely. Sure, I could stop there, but that would not be informative enough or long enough to satisfy the word quota, so here goes: Detaching from the outcome of actions and concentrating on doing them genuinely properly is the key to the most genuine of success. Not a "lucky break" or "first time successful outing with the rest being not as good". I mean, think about it, reality comes down to following through, not so much "perfection on the first try".
Even the best people in their fields had temporary failures at times. They understand how to fail well temporarily and succeed ultimately. Without that willingness to get it right ultimately with patience, understanding and tolerance there is not any genuine and repeatable success. Being attached to perfection leads usually to the ultimate mistake, quitting out of fear of failure.
Sure, if you can read this with understanding closely, you know exactly what I mean by all this. You can have an intense desire, but do not be too attached to the results, for the magic happens when you do the work properly, not get attached to actual successes or failures that happen during the work.
For those of you who take this article at face value, and fear success or failure too much, I say this: When your efforts are genuine and you are patient with understanding and tolerance of whatever happens, satisfactory and desirable results will happen. I will not say success there, because it all comes down to doing what is needed and wanted (in that order) and getting the results you do want and need (in that order). So, when I say in the title "visualize your results intensely, but be detached", I do mean that it does not matter where the ball bounces, it only matter what you do properly when it does so that you do get good or great results.
So, as I write this, I am putting the best advice I can put into an article to make people think and act about their world differently and create a better reality. So, I end this way, have courage, do "it" properly, and you will be a master yourself.
